Transaction Manager allows the ability to import and export files via a FTP connection. To use FTP functionality:
A Cloud flat-file setting must be added to your Business System Plug-in
The user will be responsible for pushing and pulling to this hosted FTP location
It is recommended to use asynchronous processing to process large files via FTP
The FTP Integration can be found at ftp://integrationftp.truecommerce.com. Login credentials are required to establish the initial connection where the username and password are provided by TrueCommerce (configured within the Professional Services Department [PSD] Tool).
In order to import and export files via FTP, a cloud flat file will need to be enabled by TrueCommerce within the customer BSP.
NOTE If the framework Integration fails, the flat file export will not occur. |
To locate import/export paths and export file names:
From the Business System workspace, select business system and company name to access the associated Business System Company Setup.
Select System Setup from the Company Configuration dropdown control.
Under Cloud Access, refer to the import/export paths and export file names for that business system setup.
If you plan to use batching with FTP import/export, you will need to set up batching via Options under the Company Configuration dropdown control. It is recommended to select 1 for the Export Batch Size if the file being imported is large.
