Editing a Transaction

You have the option to update transactions in the Outbox folder before sending them to your trading partner. Note that the transactions under the Inbox, Received, or Sent folders are viewable but cannot be edited.

To edit a transaction:

  1. Select Transaction Manager > Transactions on the Foundry   Menu to launch the Transactions workspace.

  2. Choose the Outbox folder from the Folders menu.

  3. Double-click on the transaction to be edited or select  Transaction Details from the View  dropdown controlThis opens the transaction details of the selected record.


    If the selected record is marked with a   flag, this means one or more mandatory fields will need to be filled in before you can send the transaction. Fields that require values will be highlighted in red.

  4. Make your changes (under the appropriate tabs) in the Transaction Details page. 

  5. Click   Save or   Save & Close on the action bar to save your changes.

 

TIP

Certain mandatory fields, such as vendor number and address information, can be added to a partner template so that they don't have to be filled in every time.
