Partner to partner turnaround provides a means for a transaction from one trading partner to generate a transaction for a different trading partner. This feature can be used to send a turnaround transaction to shippers or to a second trading partner.
A transaction can be selected from the Inbox, Received, Outbox, or Sent folders to perform a partner to partner turnaround.
To perform a partner to partner transaction turnaround:
Select Transaction Manager > Transactions on the Foundry Menu to launch the Transactions workspace.
Choose a folder from the Folders menu and then select one or more transactions from the grid. Data selection methods are outlined under 'Working with Grids' in the Platform User Guide.
Select Actions on the action bar, select Partner to Partner Turnaround, and then select Standard Partner to Partner Turnaround from the dropdown options.
Select a customer from the Partner to Partner Turnaround dialog and then click Next.
Select a trading partner from the dialog and then click Next.
Select a transaction from the dialog and then click Finish.
Transaction Manager creates a turnaround transaction and places it in the Outbox folder for sending. The original transaction is moved to the Received folder. The original transaction is moved to the Received folder.
If a there is a flag to the left of the record, this does not mean there are errors but that some mandatory fields need to be filled in before you can send the transaction.
