About the Transactions Grid
The main grid in the Transactions workspace displays all the records contained in the folder you selected on the left.
Foundry grids are equipped with the same built-in mechanisms to filter, locate, organize, add, change, and delete records. Note that the Platform User Guide documents grid functionality that is common to all Foundry-based applications such as Transaction Manager.
Key Tasks
Following are some of the basic actions you can perform locating, viewing, and organizing the transaction records displayed in the Transactions grid.
Navigating Transactions

Browse through transactions using the grid scrollbars and/or the scrolling mechanisms available to your browser or device.

Use Foundry's Keyboard Shortcuts to to quickly advance or jump to various locations on the grid.

Use the pagination bar at the bottom of the grid to select specific pages and to change the number of records displayed per page.

Search/Filtering Transactions

Enter a keyword in the Quicksearch field above the grid.

Use the Filter option to filter by the column selected.

Click the button on the action bar to expand the search panel for more refined search criteria.

Save settings for repetitive searches.

Viewing Transaction Records

The record information displayed on each row may reflect only partial details depending on which columns are hidden/shown. Double-click on a record to access complete Transactions Details.

Bold text indicates that the record is unread.

Change how records are displayed on the grid (hide or show specific columns) using grid controls such as the vertical ellipsis.

The button to the far left of the record opens a popup summary of the Transaction History associated with a selected transaction.

Other symbols, such as the or indicate the status of each transaction, as discussed under Transaction Symbols.
Selecting Transaction Records

Click on any record (row) to select / highlight that transaction

Select / deselect all transactions by clicking the stacked controls on the left side of the grid control bar

Use Keyboard Shortcuts to highlight multiple transactions

The number of records selected is indicated by the folder heading; for example, "Inbox Selected: 2" as illustrated.

Modifying Columns and Reorganizing the Transactions Grid Display

Transactions can be sorted by selecting any of the column headers across the top of the grid.

Use Foundry grid controls, such as the vertical ellipsis, to rearrange or hide columns (fields), or filter selected rows (records).

Lock in custom grid settings by selecting Configuration > Save Configuration from the Options dropdown menu on the action bar. The saved configuration remains in place whenever you reopen that grid, until you select Reset Configuration.
